The Beginnings of a Guitar Piece
A little bit of something that will probably become a short(ish) guitar piece. I believe I’m writing a set of preludes right now. The video is a bit…artsy. The Zoom Q3 does not do well in low light.

If you’re writing preludes, does that mean they fit into larger musical pieces? You never hear an author say, “I’m writing a bunch of prologues.”
Ryan,
Not necessarily. “Prelude” can just be a title for a short character piece. More than a few composers have written entire sets of them: Debussy and Chopin wrote big sets of piano. For guitar: Ponce write a prelude in each of the 24 keys, Leo Brouwer has a set of six, Villa Lobos has a set of five.
